Safety squat bars can be used by anyone whether they are a beginner or experienced lifter.
For beginners, the bar promotes a safer squatting posture compared to traditional barbells. The bar sits higher on shoulders while the cambered ends drop the collars below the midline and closer to the vertical axis so this forces the lifter to engage their muscles enough to stay upright.
Experienced lifters can experiement with the bar with front squats, good mornings, hip thrusts etc while staying safe as the structure of the bar and its paddings will help to alleviate stress on the joints.
